Plans and visions changed for Katie and Jimmy’s downtown Milwaukee wedding when Covid restrictions continued to tighten in the fall of 2020. Even though Katie knew she’d have adjust and reconstruct her vision for the wedding day, she did with poise and resilience.

Katie still pulled off her modern industrial wedding, just a bit north of Milwaukee. A day that was truly filled to the brim with beauty, fun, love and laughter.

Katie and Jimmy not only were grateful they could spend their wedding day with their loved ones safety but, in her vows, Katie said that the “stuff” around the disappointment of having to rearrange her day was trivial. Change of venue, a wedding no longer in the city, no more ease of location and transportation… that’s all just stuff. Katie and Jimmy said what mattered most was starting their marriage journey that day, surrounded by the people they love most. And with that, the Dieck Wedding was truly better than any vision they had even planned for. I will forever feel so grateful I was a part of it.
